What Is The Ford X Plan?
For non-Ford Motor Company employees, X-Plan provides an opportunity to experience the benefits of driving a Ford Motor Company vehicle. Selected individuals may be sponsored by a Ford Motor Company employee or may be eligible as an employee or member of a partner company or organization. Current X-Plan programs that recognize an ongoing relationship include:Â
Supplier Partner Recognition, Fleet Account Employee Appreciation and Friends & Neighbors.
Am I Eligible For Ford X Plan?
An eligible Partner Recognition employee or retiree may generate up to two (2) PINs per calendar year to be used toward the purchase/lease of a new vehicle for them or members of their households as noted below (see PIN Generation for details):
- Employees (full time, part-time and contract), spouses and retirees of eligible Partner companies (suppliers, fleets, etc.) and members of specific organizations or groups.
- Residents of the same household as listed above (drivers license required for proof of residency).
- Participation is by invitation only as determined by Ford Motor Company. Not all suppliers, fleets, etc. are eligible.
An eligible Ford employee or retiree may sponsor up to four (4) PINs per calendar year to be used toward the purchase/lease of a new vehicle for a friend or neighbor as noted below (see PIN Generation for details):
- Selected individuals sponsored by a Ford Motor Company employee or retiree such as an extended family member, friend or neighbor.
- Sponsors must know the individuals they are sponsoring.
- Dealership employees may not act as a broker by requesting a PIN for a customer from a sponsor.
- Dealerships or anyone connected with or acting on behalf of the dealership cannot purchase or solicit PINs.
The dealership must retain a copy in the deal jacket of the following:
- A completed and signed AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement listing the eligible sponsor or company, if appropriate.
- A copy of the factory invoice showing the New Vehicle Purchase Program price on the line labeled "AXZD-Plan."
Proof of Eligibility:
- Partner Recognition
- Employee/Member - the dealership must retain a copy of proof of employment or membership from the eligible company or organization. Any one of the following: a pay stub, company ID badge, healthcare card or W-2, print out from www.theworknumber.com or a valid member card.
- Household - driver's license as verification of the same household as the sponsor, plus proof of sponsor employment or membership as noted above.
- Business - Proof of Business Ownership as noted below, plus proof of residence and sponsor employment or membership as noted above.
Friends & Neighbors - no proof of eligibility required.
Business - Proof of Business Ownership as noted below:
- Proof of Business Ownership Documents - Dealers are required to verify customer eligibility & retain a copy of at least ONE of the following acceptable proofs of eligibility in the sales jacket:
- Business License (not occupational license)
- Copies of "DBA" or assumed name documentation
- Articles of Incorporation
- Business Incorporation Documents
- Sales Tax License
- Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy/Public Liability Insurance Policy and/or Workman's Compensation Insurance Policy
- State or Federal forms showing a Federal I.D. Number
- Verifiable D&B Listing (linking owner name to business name)
- FIN Code is only proof required for customers who have a FIN code
- Individual state authorized business / corporate websites, e.g. Sunbiz in Florida
- How Many Vehicles May Be Obtained Through The Ford Partner Recognition (X Plan)?
Eligible employees, retirees and their spouses may purchase or lease four vehicles per calendar year through the Partner Recognition Program (X Plan). Vehicles must be titled and registered in the eligible employee or spouse's name (vehicles may not be titled or registered in a company name). No other family members are eligible for Partner Recognition pricing.
- What Is Ford Partner Recognition (X-Plan) Pricing?
Partner Recognition pricing is a special pre-determined price, which is based on the following: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 4% plus $150.
- Which Ford Motor Company Vehicles Are Eligible?
All Ford vehicles are eligible. This includes the Ford Focus, Ford Fusion, Ford Mustang, Ford Taurus, Ford Five Hundred, Ford Taurus X, Ford Freestyle, Ford Edge, Ford Escape, Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, Ford Flex, Ford Fiesta, Transit Connect, Ford Ranger, Ford F-150, Ford F-250, Ford F-350, Ford Econoline, and more. The only exceptions are F-150 Raptor, Mustang GT350 and GT500, F-450 through F750, which are excluded.
- Can Ford Vehicles Be Purchased Or Leased?
Yes -They can be either purchased or leased. The only requirement with leasing is that the lease must be obtained through Ford Credit.
- Can A Vehicle Be Traded In Combination With This Program?
Yes - however this program does not cover trade-in allowances, which must be negotiated directly with the customer. Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, Michigan will offer you more for your trade. Our Pre-Owned Department is one of the largest in Michigan. We always need cars, trucks and vans and are willing to give you top dollar for your trade.
- How Long Is The Program In Effect?
There is no expiration date for the program, however, Ford Motor Company reserves the right to modify the program, remove eligibility or cancel the program at any time.
How Does The Ford X Plan Work?
- Eligible employee obtains organization's Partner Recognition Code.
- A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is obtained by calling 1-877-XPLAN-00.
- Participants visit Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, Michigan and identify themselves as a Partner Recognition (X-Plan) participant. Participant provides Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, Michigan, with a Social Security Number and PIN.
- Select a vehicle - 1000's to choose from at Bill Brown Ford in Livonia
- Provide proof of employment by an eligible Ford partner through a pay stub, company ID, business card, W-2, etc.
- Arrange for delivery through Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, Michigan.
